Academic Cooperation with National Chengchi University and Taipei National University of the Arts

  1. To enhance talents of student in humanistic arts and social sciences as well as reinforce general education, NYMU has signed an agreement for academic cooperation with National Chengchi University and Taipei National University of the Arts to promote exchanges and cooperation between the three universities.

  2. Cross-University Courses are to provide students with more diverse opportunities for learning through cooperation of course offerings, combined courses, interdisciplinary programs, and course selection among the three universities.

  3. Teachers are encouraged to offer cross-university courses and cooperative courses, and promote seamless cooperation between the three universities. The three universities have jointly drafted and resolved related regulations for transportation and material subsidies, including teaching hours under basic requirements of the university, and additional teaching hours for teachers providing assistance in teaching.

  4. Cooperative Program: The Biotechnology Management Program is organized by the College of Commerce, NCCU and School of Life Sciences, NYMU. NCCU is in charge of courses regarding studies of management while NYMU offers courses regarding life sciences and biotechnology. A total of 149 students from both universities have applied for the Program. Among them, 40 have received certificates for completing the courses and meeting the requirements which is a benchmark of Cross-University Cooperation.

  5. Guidelines for the Academic Cooperation among National Yang-Ming University, National Chengchi University, and Taipei National University of the Arts.
